On the fourth Saturday in November, Ukraine commemorates the annoying commemorative date — the Holodomor Memorial Day and political repressions. This date is devoted to the events of 1932-1933, when millions of inhabitants died as a result of the Soviet policy of grain procurements and collectivization of hunger in Ukraine.
The hunger strike of the 33rd is not just a historical past, but an unhealthy physical and spiritual wound of the Ukrainian people, which burns through pain through the memory of many generations. Today it is necessary to speak about the past for the sake of the future, because unconsciousness generates impotence, which, like a cancerous tumor, corrode the body and soul of the nation - it overwhelms its history, defames traditions and destroys the sociocultural identity of the people.
We invite everyone to the reading room №3 at the open view literature, archival documents and memories of witnesses of terrible tragedy!
